We love what we do and are inspired daily by the World around us, from New York style to Rodeo Drive fashion our business is ever paving a new path. The outside fashion world inspires us but that is just a part of how we come up with new ideas and styles. It would be a miss not to give credit in large part to our customers for the inspiration for many of our designs today. We strongly believe that there is a designer in everyone, with a little help it is amazing what we can collaborate on. Don't worry, we won't let you build a disaster, that's what we are here for. With your inspiration and our foundational knowledge of design we are confident that we can come up with something that you will cherish forever.
CONCEPT DRAWING: We have learned over the years that our idea and yours based solely on emails or a phone call may not translate correctly, so the very best first step is to sketch up a concept. Not everyone is a Frank Lloyd Wright with a pencil and that is where we come in. The concept drawing is just that, a concept...an idea... a rough draft. It doesn't have to be full color and it certainly doesn't have to win a CFDA award (it's a fashion thing). You should see some of the designs that we get, we could publish a kids book with these (we may use yours too). No fear, even Picasso had some flops, that's why we're here. We really just need a concept to start, a basic outline so that we're on the same page. Paper works great for the sketch then snap a picture of your sketch and email or Facebook it to us.
COLOR PALETTE: This one can be difficult so don't be afraid to do a little searching and see what's out there. Check out our Facebook Page, Website and other outside influences as well. The World is full of colorful ideas. Come up with something that catches your eye, less is more so staying within a general theme typically garners the best result.
LET THE FUN BEGIN: Once you have a concept and colors then we get to start the fun part. The creation begins and this process for a custom order is not a quick one, however good things come to those who wait, and it will be worth it! Your custom order begins with our design team and then onto the craftspeople who will be converting your concept into a handcrafted piece of art. This process typically takes 3 to 4 weeks wait time on most custom pieces.
What we will need from you when you email, FB Message, phone or meet us in person at our Bend, Oregon shop.
1) Your Full Name.
2) Contact information ie Phone Number, Shipping Address and Email Address.
3) Your concept.
4) Any custom measurements your piece may require.
4) An open mind and trusting spirit. You came to us because you like what we create, our style, personality and culture so let that work in your favor.
That's it, we will take care of the rest! Remember this is just as exciting for us as it is for you so have fun with it, keep an open mind and you will get a piece to cherish for a lifetime.
