Founder and Lead Designer
Born and raised in Vancouver, Washington, in 1998 Jessica was married to her husband Jim. Jessica graduated from Concordia University in 2000 with a teaching degree. The following year her and her husband headed East to the small, beautiful resort community of Bend, Oregon Visit Bend. She taught elementary education at Cecil Sly and Crooked River elementary from 2001 to 2004.
She has been very inspirational in the horse tack industry, from edgy chic purse designs, to fashionable horse attire worn by people from Texas to Italy and everywhere in between. Jessica has never let fashion trends stand in her way when it comes to new styles or breaking out from the norm. She is a trail blazer and the backbone of Heritage Brand's design team.
Unlike other designers in the horse tack industry, Jessica knows what it means for tack to fit correctly and how it should be constructed to get the optimum performance. She has also been successful in the arena, throughout the years as a member of the WPRA and other associations, placing at rodeos throughout her Barrel Racing career. This experience in the arena has given her the ability to test and design products that have helped to promote the sport in a positive way.
Owner and CEO
In 1997 he started his own construction company and continued to operate that until 2007 when he sold his company. He met Jessica in High School and they became fast friends and in 1998 they were married. Jim and Jessica moved to the Bend, Oregon area in 2001 where he continued his construction career.
Jessica's leather business was thriving and she needed some help in the marketing, tech and sales areas and asked Jim to join her in the business. Jim has been Team Roping professionally in the PRCA since 2006 and has placed in many professional rodeos and has been successful in and out of the arena. This experience too has given him the ability to understand what products are needed and how function is just as important as fashion.Rachelle is a native Oregon girl, coming to Bend from the small coast town of Tillamook. She’s got a colorful resume including her first job of milking cows, working at her parent’s retail garden center growing up,
owning her own coffee business, a degree in Nutritional Therapy, and it will come as no surprise she’s also done quite a bit of modeling.
She’s mom to her sport-loving 10 year old son, an avid barrel racer, and if you’re in the market for a barrel prospect, Rachelle raises some of the nicest colts in the industry with her breeding business Three Cans Barrel Horses.
Rachelle manages the production here at HB, orchestrating the production team to ensure supplies are ordered, quality is high and orders get out the door on time. And being that she was the 8th grade Chess Champion, she’s no stranger to strategizing, which sure comes in handy around here!
HR/Administrative
Yes, in a shop of 8, we somehow manage to have 2 people named Jessica! And while this Jessica doesn’t have a nickname, she’s been an integral part here at HB since 2009. Jess is in charge of all the administrative duties, which means she knows how much money you spend on horse tack, even if your husband doesn’t!
Originally a city girl from Newport Beach, California, she moved to Bend, Oregon in 2006 and her first move was to get a horse. Soon after, she was introduced to cow sorting and has been hooked ever since. She’s also mom to 4 kiddos, two of which also share her love of horses, and her and her husband, Jeff, own a Tumalo Cider Company… the best craft cider in the Northwest!

Production
Meet Kelsey Eastlick! She is one of the 1st faces you will see when walking into our shop.
We know you will admire her smile, sparkling blue eyes and congeniality as much as we do! Kelsey fits in great here: an outdoorsy girl that grew up in Scott Valley, CA with 3 brothers and a love for horses. Her favorite things about CA was spending time with her Grandad, along with taking trips w/her dad & brothers to the beach and seeing the Giants play in San Francisco! While growing up she played softball & basketball, which fueled her competitive side! Softball brought her to Oregon to play at Blue Mountain Community College. However, it is no surprise she recently moved to beautiful Central Oregon to enjoy the things she loves: riding, working cows, hunting, kayaking, & fishing! Kelsey has 3 dogs; but only Jade, the blue heeler/border collie, gets to come to work with her. She has a natural ability to design and work with her hands, and a passion in making handbags was what attracted her to HB. She has been an asset here at Heritage Brand, as she quickly mastered setting crystals and wants to learn all the stations here in the shop.
